That's an increase since this time last year. U.S. airlines have increased seats by 92,000 to their schedules compared to the same period last year.
Here are the busiest days for that week:
1. Friday, August 31st
2. Saturday, September 1st
3. Monday, September 3rd
Interestingly, the slowest days of the Labor Day stretch, Saturday and Sunday, are also historically among the lightest days of the year.
