Here are a few.
Queen guitarist Brian May: In his native Britain, Brian taught math. Well educated, he has a Ph.D. in astrophysics.
Styx founder and former lead singer Dennis DeYoung: Dennis taught music with his degree in education.
Police lead singer Sting: He has said, however, that he was not a good teacher.
Sheryl Crow: Kellison Elementary School music teacher in Mississippi.
Dire Straits guitarist and singer Mark Knopfler: Taught English at Loughton College in England (Now called Epping Forest College)
