With Steve Perry officially back and releasing a new album, many are wondering if he could actually return to fronting Journey.

Perry was asked in a recent interview about reuniting with Journey, and he definitively said, “No. I think that we've gone on our separate ways and we’re doing great.”

Whether or not he meant to make that Journey pun, we’ll never know, but fans should really just let this dream go and be happy he found his love for music again.  The fact that he made a new album alone after a decades-long absence in pretty incredible itself.

Speaking of the new album, Traces drops October 5 and is currently available for pre-order at StevePerry.com.  In case you haven’t heard “No Erasin’”, its first single, yet, take a listen to it below!
