Beatles fans will forever debate exactly why the band broke up, but Paul McCartney will tell you it was John Lennon's idea.
McCartney recounted the story during an interview with Howard Stern, telling him "There was a meeting where John came in and said 'I'm leaving the group'. McCartney also acknowledged that Yoko Ono's presence in the studio was 'intrusive', but says he respects that Lennon was "totally in love with her".
