After the tragic death of Jordan Belliveau, his family started a GoFundMe page to help raise money for his funeral expenses.
As you know, the Largo toddler’s body was found in a wooded area last week, and his mother was arrested in his death.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Belliveau’s family says there was a lot of confusion regarding the GoFundMe page.
To clarify, the family states that the official GoFundMe page was named R.I.P Jordan Jr., however, other people also created pages the family was not aware of.
Due to the confusion, the family has decided to shut the page down, and has asked donations be placed via paypal, an account being managed by the funeral home — TR Dallas Funeral Services.
The owner of the funeral home has offered to donate services related to prep, visitation, and Jordan’s funeral. However, the materials for these services are separate fees and require a payment by the family.
As of this posting, the authorized GoFundMe page is still published, but the family encourages anyone who would still like to donate to do so via the funeral home’s business paypal account.
