A report just came out on teens and social media use. What makes this report interesting is that it’s been a six year study. Here’s what they found out:

Teens are on social media for much of the day; some say they use it almost constantly.

Teens prefer messaging and texting over talking face-to-face.

And this is ironic. Most teens believe tech companies manipulate them.

This research can be a reminder to parents just how influential big tech is on your children and their future. Do their values align with yours?

And one final note, teens believe Facebook is for communicating with their grandparents.
