The two remaining suspects will have until October 15th to decide how they will plead. The first two experts were not able to determine whether the shark was alive at the time it was being dragged. Michael Wenzel and Robert Lee Benac were booked on two counts of aggravated animal cruelty and a misdemeanor violation of FWC rules, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office records.
