How was this kept a secret for the last three months? Former Friends star Matthew Perry has spent the last three months in the hospital recovering from August surgery to repair a gastrointestinal perforation.

On Friday, Perry tweeted: “Three months in a hospital bed. Check.” Fans have hit social media to lend their support.

Us Weekly had previously reported that Perry has been on the mend after developing a hole in his gastrointestinal tract.
