After 54 years in the business, Henry Winkler has finally earned his first Emmy.
Winkler picked up the hardware last night for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the HBO show Barry.
Winkler has been nominated six times over the past four decades, and three of those came for his memorable role as Arthur Fonzarelli on the classic show Happy Days.
As he accepted the award he said, “I only have 30 seconds but I wrote this 40 years ago.” Winkler wrapped up his win with a message to his kids, “Jed, Zoey, and Max! You can go to bed now. Daddy won!”
