ABC’s wants HGTV star Jonathan Scott to be the next Bachelor… but will he?
I am sure many men out there would love the chance to have dozens of women fighting for their attention, but Jonathan Scott of the popular show “Property Brothers“, is NOT one of them.
US Weekly says that the star has been offered the roll several times, but he is just not interested. Jonathan says “I said my third NO to being the Bachelor about a month ago. I cannot! That is absolutely not me”.
The popular ABC series usually opts for for a guy from a previous season of “The Bachelorette“, but they do occasionally seek to place folks from other shows from time to time.
Jonathan’s twin brother Drew Scott says he feels his brother just really doesn’t have the time, but he does have hopes to pawn him off to some dating show eventually. Drew recently married so he is officially off the market.
However, ABC has now announced that Colton Underwood, who appeared on season 14 of “The Bachelorette”, will be their new “Bachelor” for the upcoming season 23.
