Free Museum Tickets!

Several Tampa Bay area museums will be offering free admission tickets this weekend.

In celebration of Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day this Saturday, September 22nd, nearly 1,500 museums across the nation are offering free admission THIS weekend. This includes more than 100 museums in the state of Florida.

Fortunately for us, there are about 20 museums here in the Tampa Bay area that will participate. Among them are The Ringling Museum, (a favorite of mine, and a must see), The Tampa Museum of Art, and Imagine Museum. The tickets will allow entrance for two people, and can be downloaded online HERE.

Other free venues this weekend include smaller art museums, forts, historic homes and a varied range of other institutions that are all participating in the "Fee-Free" day.
