A new study reveals how rampant screen-time is for kids and the negative affect it has on families.

North Carolina-based company Relay has released the results of a big survey on screen time and families. Kids used to play outside. Now they play on their devices. Some of these key findings are startling:

The average household has 2.4 devices with screens per person.

On a weekly basis, teenagers spend 45 hours in front of screens weekly, and six to 11 year-old's are spending 33 hours in front of screens each week.

The increase in screen time has killed kids' desire for outdoor play and other activities.

More than half of parents surveyed believe kids are less imaginative than they were growing up.

And you can imagine all this screen time leads to arguments between parents and their kids.
