The actor who plays Freddie Mercury in the upcoming Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody knows that filling Freddie’s shoes isn’t easy.

Rami Malek says he knows portraying such a rock icon is and “immense responsibility”, but one he was “very eager to take on.” Producer Graham King says Malek was a “natural”.

The Mr. Robot star worked with a movement coach to learn all of Freddie’s signature moves, and spent more than 50 hours being fitted for his many stage costumes.

Bohemian Rhapsody hits theaters November 2nd.
