Ellen Gives School a New Lab

When it comes to random acts of kindness, Ellen Degeneres is a pro.

She proved her giving prowess to a Harlem School by donating a new technology lab to the school with the help of Verizon. Students and faculty at Patrick Henry Prep, got a video call from Ellen while she was taping her show to let them know the good news, and the students went bonkers!

Ellen announced, "Verizon is giving your school an innovative learning lab that will feature technology like virtual reality, robotics and 3D printing."

To sweeten the pot, after announcing the technology lab, she then told the school she'll be donating $50,000 to help their causes.
