Already we had heard news of a new hotel next to the Swan & Dolphin, plus the planned Star Wars hotel, and now Disney has announced a new resort to be built on the old River Country property.
There's no name for the new resort yet, but it will have 900 rooms and is expected to be ready to open in 2022. Most of the other projects at Walt Disney World Resort are expected to be completed before 2021, the 50th anniversary of the opening of Magic Kingdom.
