Here are a few of the most common foods that cause weight gain during the holiday season.
- Eggnog. One cup can be as much as 350 calories, and who stops at just one?
- Deviled eggs are higher in calories because of the mayonnaise, plus lots of cholesterol!
- Meatballs have lots of calories plus often a lot fat.
- Spinach-artichoke dip sounds good and healthy, but once you add in the cheese and sou cream, it becomes so much more.
- Pecan pie sounds healthy, too, but with all the sugar added, a slice can have 500 calories!
