Hide the Rum! Johnny Depp Is Out As Jack Sparrow in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean

DailyMailTV is reporting that Johnny Depp will not be playing Jack Sparrow in the reboot of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean.

Depp is widely known for his character in the film and even dresses up like Jack Sparrow when he visits children’s hospitals.

"I think Jack Sparrow will be his legacy. It's the only character he's played five times, it's the character he dresses up in to visit children in hospitals, it's what he'll be remembered for, said Stuart Beattie, a scriptwriter for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
