What are YOUR top 3 favorite Halloween candy choices?
We’ve all have a favorite candy. So I found it interesting when I heard that a state by state breakdown of the most popular Halloween candy was released. I always think about our heat and humidity, so I thought a candy like Skittles or M&M’s would be most popular. But Skittles actually came in at #2.
The most popular Halloween Candy in Florida is Snickers. Floridians will buy over 660,000 pounds of them according to WTSP. Skittles comes in at #2 with about 579,000 pounds and a distant 3rd is Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Who doesn’t love peanut butter and chocolate?
But in this case, heat and humidity aside, I have to agree with the pick. Snickers is one of my all time favorites. I especially love to put them in the freezer and have them frozen. Plus they last forever like that. (not that they ever do). In fact, I just asked my wife to be sure and stock up on Snickers for our Trick-or-Treater’s this year. Mainly because I’ll get to eat any leftover bars. She giggled and said that, “we’ll be giving away Kit Kat bars again this year”.
