In a new book “Dutch Girl: Audrey Hepburn and World War II” Robert Matzen reveals that after Hepburn’s uncle was killed by the Nazis, Hepburn worked with resistance workers.

Hepburn’s uncle, Count Otto von Limburg Stirum had written a 188-page diary while being jailed for four months.

Hepburn’s youngest son, Luca Dotti, wrote the forward for the book and recounts how his mother would tell them Dutch and World War II stories instead of her Hollywood stories.
