Megan Doodle says although she believes that parents should have the ‘freedom’ of choice when it comes to vaccinations, she also believes that people who don’t get their kids immunized or get vaccinated themselves shouldn’t be allowed to go to the doctor.
Doodle says that everything comes with risks and that not getting vaccinated is a bigger risk than the rare occasions when someone is affected by the immunizations. She also points out that for people that suffer from immune disorders and newborns who are too small to get vaccinated, the chances of getting sick is heightened.
Do you think parents should be able to choose whether their kids are vaccinated?
