DWTS Pro Falling For His “Star”
One of the Dancing With The Stars’ pro dancers and his partner seem to be falling for each other.
As reported by MSN.com, Monday night on week six of DWTS, pro dancer Alan Bersten finally kissed his partner, 21 year old model Alexis Ren, during the country-themed episode.
It was clear the two had feeling for each other when a week earlier, Ren admitted that she was starting to develop feelings for her pro partner. “I didn’t see this one coming,” she said at the time. “It happened really quickly though, so I think I’m still trying to process it.”
Bersten, a 24 year old dancer and choreographer also admitted his feelings saying, “I’m in a place where we worked so hard for this amazing journey together, and I’m afraid I will mess that up in some way. But I’ve never had an experience like this.” Those behind the scenes confirm that the two were very “lovey dovey” off screen as well. They were very flirtatious with each other, and they were constantly touching. They are always very giggly.
This comes as no surprise to me. I’ve often wondered how this type thing does not happen more often on this show, considering the amount of time these couples spend together, the intimacy of the dancing itself, and the emotional journey it leads them on.
Here’s hoping this love affair lasts through (at least) the season finale.
