Lady Gaga has won best actress for her role in Bradley Cooper’s “A Star Is Born” The National Board of Review awarded Gaga the prize, she will join previous winners in the category, Meryl Streep for The Post, Amy Adams for Arrival and Brie Larson for Room. A Star Is Born generated award show buzz after its debut at the Toronto Film Festival, the movie brought in over $100 million and the soundtrack topped at number 1 on Billboard.
