Should Restaurants Ban Phones?

Are you one of those that get disgusted when people are on their phones in a restaurant?

If so, you'll be glad to hear that there are some restaurants looking to curb phone use for families while enjoying a meal.
A British restaurant chain is running a "no phone zone" promotion that will allow kids to eat for free if the parents ditch the phone.

Another restaurant has a "phone-discouraging initiative" asking that patrons put their phone in a box while enjoying their meal.

All this comes about after a survey of 1500 parents and children revealed that a quarter of parents check their phones during "family meal time" and 23% of the parents were on the phone while kids were talking about their day!
