Gaga received the award in 2016 for her role as the Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel, she won for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie.
Gaga will make history if she wins as the first singer to win Best Actress in a Drama. Other notable singers tried to win the category including, Cher for Mask in 1985, Barbra Streisand for The Way We Were in 1973 and Diana Ross for Lady Sings The Blues in 1973 but none of the ladies achieved the win.
