Bride Goes Viral After Kicking Couple Out of Wedding for Bringing Their Kids

A bride took to Reddit to ask users if it was rude to kick out a couple who brought their kids to her wedding after she specifically said: “no children”…

NEW ORLEANS, LA – APRIL 14: Bride Victoria Yu (L) walks before her wedding to Nicholas Persac at the historic Degas House, former home of French Impressionist painter Edgar Degas, on April 14, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Persac’s great, great, great grandfather, French-born Louisiana artist Marie Adrien Persac, painted a historically important image of the home in 1860. New Orleans, originally founded by the French in 1718, is celebrating its 300th anniversary this year. The city became part of the United States in 1803 as part of the Louisiana Purchase. French historic landmarks remain an important part of the city’s history and identity. (Photo by Mario Tama/Getty Images)

A bride took to Reddit to ask users if it was rude to kick out a couple who brought their kids to her wedding after she specifically said: “no children” on the invitations, what she was met with was over 1,500 comments on the subject.

The bride said the woman was a long-time family friend and she let them stay during the ceremony but had her wedding planner ask the friend to have someone pick up the kids for the reception.

“I mean, everyone was drinking and loud and rowdy and a crying child and another little one running around was not part of the plan,” the bride wrote.

One person said that the wedding day is 100 percent for the couple and guest should comply with their wishes, while another person commented, “It’s considered rude to put that on invitations…”

What do you think, is it rude to ask guests to not bring kids to a wedding? If they do, should they be asked to leave?
