No, she didn't hail a taxi or call an Uber, she borrowed an ambulance instead.
According to the police report, Jenette Askew found the door to the emergency vehicle unlocked and the keys already in the ignition, so she hopped in and drove off.
Of course, the ambulance was outfitted with GPS, so dispatchers were able to lead Lake County Sheriff's officers right to her as she made her way down Interstate 90.
The 40-year-old hit speeds of 80 MPH, but the report doesn't say if she had the lights and siren going as well.
