Because of the government shutdown, Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport says travelers may need three hours to clear TSA.
Transportation Security Administration agents are working without pay during the shutdown. There have been nationwide reports of agents calling in sick.
Some U.S. airports have closed terminals because of the shutdown.
