Pinellas County School Offering Assistance To Students Affected By The Government Shutdown
As the shutdown continues and we see no end in sight, families are starting to worry that their children will not be able to eat lunch at school.
Government workers aren’t getting a paycheck during the shutdown and money is getting tight.
So Pinellas County is stepping in to help these families when it comes to making sure the children of these government workers are able to eat lunch by paying for their lunches.
To see if your child qualifies for free or reduced lunch, you must fill out an application and convenient enough you can do it online.
If you end up qualifying, you will be eligible for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year and then the first 30 days of the new school year.
