You no longer have to leave the couch to purchase marijuana in California.

The Office of Administrative Law has allowed for the delivery of weed to pretty much everywhere in the state.

Although, there are still smaller communities in the state that don’t think it’s a great idea.
“It’s more of a local control issue than specifically a marijuana topic, the state slowly creeping into local affairs more and more,” said David Gassaway, Indian Wells community development director.

Most in the industry embrace the new rules that kicked off earlier in the week.
“It gives delivery services the ability to really quickly scale up,” co-owner of Green Team Ali Cooper said, “and reach a larger consumer base.”
