Reports say he is in talks with Disney to create an animated musical based on a Latina princess. She would be the first princess of Latin heritage.
Miranda's father, Luis, told Page Six that the film would be a sequel to Moana but with a Latina heroine.
Disney hasn't commented on the rumor.
