It’s that time of year when so many of us are sniffling and sneezing. You’ve heard the best thing to do is “feed a cold,” right?
Well, here are five foods you can eat that will help fight a cold.
- Oysters. Why? Because oysters have plenty of zinc, which is good for combatting colds.
- Garlic. You’re not going to get many smooches when you’re sick, so go ahead and load up on the garlic. It’s got plenty of antioxidant properties.
- Almonds help fight colds because they boost white blood cell production.
- Kiwi. Lots of vitamin C in these yummy fruits.
- Chicken Soup. What mama told you all along is correct. Soup will help you fight your cold
