Assisted Living Facilities Under State Watch Not Required To Tell Families

There are over 3,000 Assisted Living Facilities in Florida and many of them are not run safely. My Mom was at an ALS facility in Largo and she fell at least 5 times before we took her out of the facility and moved her to a safer place. These facilities charge over $4,000 a month and pay their workers minimum wage. Now this report exposing the fact that an ALS facility can be under State Watch for horrible things and the facility does not have to inform family members. So wrong!
