Tristan Fewings/Getty ImagesThis list surprised me. I frequently drink Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. I would have thought, no question, Dunkin' has more caffeine. It just gives me a unique jolt. (Maybe it's because I put one cream in my Dunkin' coffee, but a ton of milk, cream, etc. in my Starbucks.) But as you look at the list, you'll realize that's not the case. Starbucks is number two.
Here's the list:
1. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf - 20.8 milligrams per ounce
2. Starbucks - 20.6
3. 7-Eleven - 17.5 (I would've thought 7-Eleven was lower on the list.)
4. Peet's Coffee 16.7
5. Dunkin' Donuts - 15
6. Chick-fil-A - 13.6
7. Panera Bread - 11.8
8. McDonald's - 9.1 (I would've assumed McDonald's would be higher on the list. We know it's certainly the hottest.)
