Sleep is part of the recipe for maintaining good health. And exercise is important, as well.

A new comprehensive study revealed that 95% of teenagers are lacking in both categories. Let's run through some of the bad things that can happen when you don't get enough sleep. You are more prone to weight gain, dementia and heart disease. Participating in 45 minutes PER DAY of exercise is what teens should be aiming for. They aren't hitting the mark in either of these categories. Devices are to blame. They're missing sleep because they're up late on their phones and they're skipping the outdoors and exercise, too.

It's alarming to think about the health problems that could be affecting this generation later in life. Parents, do what you can to change this. Even though they're teenagers, we're still their parents.
