If You Lost Your Job Tomorrow, What Would You Do?

So many articles by finance gurus say many of us are just two paychecks away from something really bad, like losing a car or not being able to pay rent.

And the recent government shutdown (and another pending) has people thinking. What's the first thing yo'd do if you lost your job today? Would you take a break, be relieved, freak out?  How long could you survive without a paycheck?
