As the contract between the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and ‘Live PD’ is approaching, the county is considering the future with the TV show.
The contract ends in March. Sheriff Chris Nocco has said the future with the show will be not be based on people who are upset about their being on ‘Live PD’, and also that no blame should be put on the show for airing local issues of mental health or substance abuse.
Local businesses have been concerned that being seen on ‘Live PD’ makes the community look unsafe.
Sheriff Nocco has said he wants to show what the Sheriff’s Department is doing through ‘Live PD’.
