The movie tells the story of a young Pakistani teen in Britain who discovers Springsteen's music and is inspired to become a writer, based on a memoir by journalist Sarfraz Manzoor.
The film got a standing ovation at Sundance and Bruce himself reportedly loved it, telling director, Gurinder Chadha "Don't change a thing - it's perfect".
Blinded By The Light will be released on August 14th.
