The Tampa Bay Sports Commission put in a bid on dates for 2023-2025, but it could happen sooner. The commission isn't saying, and WWE isn't making an announcement "at this time".
If the event was to be in Tampa, it would take place in Raymond James Stadium with a capacity of 66,000.
2020 would also be the year Tampa would see the start of the new XFL football team in a league owned by the WWE.
2019 will see WrestleMania 35 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on April 7.
