Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Opens At Walt Disney World This Summer

Walt Disney World has been getting ready for their latest ‘land’ to open at Hollywood Studios, and the date has officially been announced for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The Star Wars themed section of Hollywood Studios will open August 29. It’s west coast counterpart at Disneyland Resort will open sooner, on May 31.

Hollywood Studios’ 14 acres of Star Wars attractions features attractions based on the latest movies. The ‘land’ will feature:

Characters such as Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren and Chewbacca

Attractions:
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – An interactive experience
Rise of the Resistance – A ride on a full-size starship
Savi’s Workshop – Buy or build your own lightsaber
Droid Depot – Get you own droid!

Food!
Yes, there’s food to be found in Galaxy’s Edge, and it might seem like you found it in a galaxy far, far away.
