Florida May Pass Law Adding Deposit On Glass, Aluminum And Plastic Containers

Two bills in the Florida state legislature will encourage recycling bottles by adding a 10 cent deposit on glass, aluminum and plastic bottles and cans.

Then, you can get your deposit back by returning the used containers to the store or redemption center.

Some agree with the plan that is expected to increase recycling, but others don't like it because they already recycle at their homes and would be penalized the extra cost.
