Remember Alexa Jones and Richard Hopper, the college couple that was attacked and beaten at Gasparilla?
Alexa and her boyfriend had a tradition of going to the Gasparilla Parade, but this year might turn out to be their last year attending. Alexa and Richard were in the crowd along Bayshore minding their own business when a mystery man grabbed Alexa grouping her, while another set of guys beat Richard unconscious. The couple told their story and have worked very hard to track down the guys that did this even offering a $5000 reward. Thankfully, a witness identified the man when she saw him on Facebook. Remember thugs….you’re always on camera!
