DEA Looking for Someone to Burn Thousands of Pounds of Pot
In what most pot smokers would consider a dream job, the Drug Enforcement Agency in Houston is looking for someone to burn a whole lot of marijuana.
A job description written up by the DEA calls for someone to help clean out the agency’s Houston-based evidence vault, which apparently is brimming with confiscated marijuana. It says the successful bidder must be able to burn at least 1,000 pounds of pot per hour for eight hours a day.
The bad news is the DEA plans to monitor the incineration process with closed-circuit cameras, the description reads. Moreover, it will require the winning contractor’s employees to pass drug tests.
