“Grease” Is Getting A Prequel
For many years, “Grease” has been the word. Now, the next word is ‘prequel’. What will this one be about?
What happened over the summer before Sandy joined Danny at Rydell High School? That will be the plot of “Summer Loving”, the working title of the “Grease” prequel.
The screenplay is being written by John August, who wrote the screenplay of the live-action “Aladdin”.
In the song “Summer Loving”, in which both Danny and Sandy tell their respective friends about their summer fling, one tells of a much ‘raunchier’ story than the other. Who was telling the truth?
