"Disney Plus" will premier November 12. You have two options. You can subscribe month to month. That costs $6.99. Or if you'd rather prepay for an entire year, that will be $69.99, which saves about $1 a month.
There will be no ads and you'll be able to to download shows and movies to watch offline, according to a press release.
Netflix will certainly have more movies. Disney is aiming right at its fans by offering a Star Wars live action series and a new version of High School Musical. They say the content will fall under 1 of 5 categories: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. Movies that come out this year and from now on will only be streamed on Disney Plus.
