A police officer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Austin Lynema, saw nine-year old Thomas Daniel running after his school bus. He'd missed it. Austin offered to give him a ride to school. It happened to be Thomas' birthday and he shared with the officer that he was bullied a lot at school and he was afraid no one would show up to his birthday party. So Austin made his day special. Not only did he show up at Austin's party, but he brought other officers with him. And sadly, it was true. None of the kids had shown up to Thomas' house.

So Austin decided to hafve a party for him the next day and gave Thomas all kinds of cool stuff...police hats and shirts and DONUTS that spelled "Happy Birthday." Thomas say he'll never forget that day for the rest of his life.
