Parents of Pine Grove Elementary School in Hernando County want action.
Tomas Valerio says his daughter used to love school, so they didn't know what to think when she started coming home from school crying. They questioned their daughter and got her to tell them the teacher was mean and loud. They talked to the school, who assured them the teacher had been there for 13 years and it would take some time to get used to a new school and teacher who talked loud.
Weeks later it was the same thing over and over with their daughter coming home from school crying. The parents hid a recording device in their daughters hair ribbon. What they heard on the recording was horrible. The teacher screams and berates the children.
The Principal refused to listen to the recordings but the parents are not satisfied.
