At long last, Game Of Thrones returned tonight (April 14). While some GOT season premieres have been a bit sleepy, and serve to reset the game, this episode -- "Winterfell" -- had some big moments.  And, as always, there were some big reactions on Twitter. Warning, spoilers ahead.

The beginning of the episode spent a lot of time reestablishing where our characters are and establishing new relationships (surprise! Sansa doesn't like Daenerys and shade is already being thrown).

But things kicked into high gear when Beric Dondarrion, Tormund Giantsbane and their crew discover a child impaled, sliced up and spread into a spiral shape, a shape which seems to have significance to the Children of the Forrest. Walking Dead fans have been through this before: he's not dead, guys! He opens his eyes and screams, and Beric quickly lights him up with his fire-sword.

Earlier in the episode, Daenerys meets Jon Snow's best buddy Samwell Tarley for the first time, and offers to do him a solid, to reward him for helping to save Ser Jorah from the greyscale. During their conversation she realizes that she executed his father and brother last season, and she tells him this. After this exchange, he goes to tell Jon Snow about it. And, oh yeah, that Jon isn't actually a Stark, or even a bastard; he's a Targaryen, and the true heir to the Iron Throne.

And that last scene: Jamie Lannister sneaks into Winterfell, where he locks eyes with Bran Stark. Fade to black!
