A website named the SpareRoom.com talked to 6,000 people and found out what qualities people want in a good roommate and qualities like respectful, responsible and honest were on the list. Obviously most of the top things we want will apply wether its living with a friend, a stranger or even your partner.
Here are the Top Ten that were most important to the people surveyed:
- Respectful
- Responsible
- Honest
- Clean/neat
- Friendly
- Quiet
- Non-Smoker -*(people who DO smoke made the list at #18, likely because smokers want to live with other smokers who won't complain about it.)
- Age - ceretain range
- Similar interests/hobbies
- Love for animals
