Drunk Woman Allegedly Intentionally Runs Man Down Near Tampa

A drunk woman who had 3 times the legal blood alcohol level was arrested after running over a man on Interstate 4.

Alicia Belcher of Plant City and a man were headed east on Interstate 4 Thursday evening when an argument led to him leaving the vehicle.

Belcher allegedly crossed three lanes of interstate highway to run over the man.

She then left the scene. The victim was taken to Tampa General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

When law enforcement caught Belcher, her blood alcohol level was recorded as .219/.210. The legal limit is .08.
