Sharon Peterson met a man through OKCupid and he told her his name was Victor. Victor said he ran a bank in Madrid and even showed Sharon his fake passport. Victor took months of wooing Sharon and said he was moving to Clearwater and wanted to marry her.
Victor then told Sharon he needed money so he could access his inheritance. Sharon sent him cash advances and then more money before she found out the whole thing was a scam. Sharon won't be able to get her money back, but we can all learn this lesson.
